Le Donk

15 years ago a roadie named Donk seemed to have it all. Now his life is shit. So he decides to take UK rapper Scorz-ay-zee with him on a road trip that he hopes will change their lives forever.

This low-budget rockumentary follows Le Donk and Scorz on their journey of a lifetime and includes appearances from amongst others, the Arctic Monkeys.

LE DONK is an improvised comedy, shot over five days by Shane Meadows, devised with and starring Paddy Considine.

LE DONK will premiere at the Edinburgh International Festival on 23 June and is due for release in September

VISUAL PRODUCTION FOR U.N.K.L.E. LIVE & UNKLE SOUND SYSTEM.

Visual production began for U.N.K.L.E. with the UK and Ireland NME & Carling Premier tour in 1999. The tour featured James Lavelle and the Scratch Perverts performing a live DJ remix of the “Science Fiction” album with a multi screen visual production by The Light Surgeons that combined video material, slide sequences and 16mm film projections. This first show also contained animated contributions produced by award winning promo directors Shynola.

This collective fusion of visuals went on to be used at countless other U.N.K.L.E. gig’s and DJ appearances at venues such as Fabric over the following years.

New visual production was commission in 2002 to promote the release of the album “Never, Never Land” with a blow out two night performance at London’s ICA as part of the After Dark festival. “Never, Never Land” also contains an audio sample of Robert Alan Weiser taken from TLS’s APB performance in the opening track “Back and Forth”.

The original Battlestar track features on Harmonic 313's new album When Machines Exceed Human Intelligence, the Remix is new to this release - both feature typically heavy production from Mark which was showcased throughout the album.

Once you get a high quality version you should warn your speakers of the second bass thump about a minute in, it's really something else.
